This announcement constitutes the only solicitation ; proposals are being requested and a written solication will not be issued. Solicitation number for this RFQ: DTCG32-98-Q-E00089; is a Request For Quote (RFQ) The following Provisions and clauses are incorporated into this RFQ by reference and are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 January 1, 1997. USCG Research & Development Centers requirement is: CLIN 0001 two (2) Sleep Recorders -- Allows monitoring and didgital storage of 1 to 21 channels of physiologic data. Internal oxymetry, neuromuscular and respiratory ampligiers provide information for sleep staging. This recording system is compact and light weight, allowing for easy transport and set-up on moving vessels. Physical dimensions are not to exceed 260 x 290 x 62 mm, weight is not to exceed 2.5 kg. Recording package is to include carrying case, power supply, patient junction box and all sensors and electrodes -- Oxford Inc, Medilog (r) MPAS Recorder or equal to. CLIN 0002 one (1) Replay Software Kit. Replay system-configuration, replay and analysis system for digital sleep recorder. This system utilizes software that interfaces with our Workstation III computer system, including graphic generation of results (Windows NT). Multiple replay windows allow for direct comparison of recordings and analyses. Reports and statistical analysis are generated, along with digitized electroencephalography data -- Oxford, Inc. MPA-S Replay Software Kit or equal to. CLIN 0003 two (2) Portable Real-Time Display system allows for on-line data display of EEG data -- Oxford, Inc. Portable Display Unit or equal to. This required to perform the procedures of this research in the environment. All items are to be delivered by 20 February 1998 or earlier. Offerors shall state their standard warranty they offer in this response to this RFQ. Award will be based on lowest price for equipment meeting the technical specifications outlined.
