75 -- MAXIMUM SECURITY PADLOCK WITH KEYS SOL FSIS-8-W-98 DUE 031798 POC Tawana Nathan Solicitation No. FSIS-8-W-98 is issued as a Request for Proposals for the acquisition for commercial items. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has a requirement for maximum security padlocks. The locks shall be made of laminated steel, 1-3/4" body with keyed alike shackle, 5/16" thick, 1-1/2" long, and 3/4" wide opening. Locks must be keyed same as locks currently being used by the Agency. Incumbent product is Masterlock 1KALFRSV-1C283. FSIS is interested in awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a minimum of 5000 locks. The period of performance will be from date of award through September 30, 1998.
