The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), has a requirement for Anti-Submarine Warfare Control System (ASWCS) Mk 116 (all mods) life cycle support. This acquisition includes support for all current and future ASWCS MK 116 mods. Required services includes, but is not limited to system engineering, software engineering, system integration and testing, and documentation and training support. In order to successfully perform the required life cycle support, expertise is required in the following: (1) AN/UYK-7 and AN/UYK-43 computers, (2) MK 116 Mod 4, (3) MK 116 Mods 5,6,8,9 and (4) MK116 Mod 7. This requirement is for a total of five years and will be procured on a Cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite delivery indefinite quantity basis. It is anticipated that a total of 175 man-years will be required. The contractor must possess a SECRET facility clearance at the time of contract award. The contractor's facility must be located within 60 minutes of NSWCDD in order that personnel can respond to notification of technical meetings and/or laboratory availability. In addition, all key personnel proposed to support the contract must possess a SECRET clearance prior to performing under the proposed contract. As a minimum, 75% of the proposed key personnel must be able to comply with the response time and clearance requirement at time of award. Solicitation will be issued electronically approximately 16 February 1998 and proposals will be due approximately 45 days after issue.
