J -- PERFORM PM ON ELECTRICAL DEVICES SOL 626-23-98 DUE 030598 POC Susan Hilley, 615-327-5312 Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to perform preventive maintenance on electrical devices at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 1310 24th Ave., S., Nashville, TN 37212. Work includes inspection, cleaning, tightening, and testing of electrical switchgear, panel breakers, disconnects, motor controllers, and all control devices. All work requiring power outages shall be performed between 10:00p.m. and 4:00 a.m.. Current tests on draw-out type breakers shall be accomplished between 10:00 p.m. on Friday and 4:00 a.m. on Saturday and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and 4:00 a.m. on Sunday. Infared survey shall be performed between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work shall be performed on four consecutive weekends during March and April 1998. All work shall be completed within 30 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Reports required by the contract shall be submitted within 30 calendar days after completion of work. Offers will be evaluated based on the following criteria (1) Company experience and demonstrated ability; (2) Personnel qualifications; (3) Resources; (4) Price.
