The Government prefers a multiple award contract to the Contractors that can provide both inpatient and outpatient care at the Contractor's facility. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with four-one (1) year option periods for a total of 60 months from the date of award. Only medical facilities within an eighty (80) mile radius from the institution will be utilized for inpatient/outpatient services. The estimated quantities for each period of the contract are as follows: Base period: Inpatient days-90, Outpatient visits-200; Option period one: Inpatient days-105, Outpatient visits-220, Option period two: Inpatient days-120, Outpatient visits-240; Option period three: Inpatient days-130, Outpatient visits-260; Option period four: Inpatient days-140, Outpatient visits-280.
