Gower (202) 776-8774, fax (202) 776-8775 The Department of State, Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), Office of Resource Management, Aviation Services Division, intends to award a contract for personal services to an individual to assist in overseeing the aviation support services contract operations and provide expert aviation and eradication technical program guidance, and program direction to the Contractor regarding operation and logistical mission performance in Colombia. As INL's authority to award personal services contracts is limited to contracts with individuals, only individuals will be considered for contract award. The assignment, to the American Embassy in Bogota, Colombia, is for one year, with the option to extend the contract. The GS equivalent grade range is GS 14 through GS 15. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (i.e., Associates Degree with five years relevant experience or ten years related experience in the military or law enforcement; three years relevant overseas aviation experience, especially in the area of aviation program management pertaining the field service, helicopter and crop/utility type aircraft; direct experience involving the tactical employment if aircraft for counter-narcotics purposes, to include aerial eradication of illicit drug crops in a hostile environment; Spanish capability at the FSI S3/R3.
