The contractor shall provide at a minimum, qualified court security officers (CSOs) that have successfully completed federal, state, county, municipal or military law enforcement academy training and that have a minimum of three calendar years experience as a certified law enforcement officer with arrest authority, background investigation and physical fitness requirements. Resulting contract(s) will be an indefinite quantity contract with one base year and four option years. All options will be evaluated for award purposes. To be considered for award, the contractor is required to submit an offer on all facilities within a given circuit. Only written requests for the solicitation will be honored. The written request shall also provide the contractor's business size classification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Services are expected to commence on or about October 1, 1998. The anticipated issue date for the solicitation is on or about February 16, 1998. (0026)
