This is a notice that the Government intends to exercise the option period of the contract for February 1, 1998 through April 30, 1998 to The Westway Motor Inn, 71-11 Astoria Boulevard, East Elmhurst, NY 11370 for an estimated amount of $237,185. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government has negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be received by close of business January 30, 1998.
