The work shall include but not be limited to: adding a covered walk; adding a storefront glazing system; adding a change link fence; adding a gate system; reconfinguration of several parking lot entrances; up-grading of all site lighting; providing, installing, and testing a new security access system; intercom systems; and closed circuit television (CCTV) systems. A contract will be awarded for each of the two facilities. Site access and construction areas will be limited. Extensive construction coordination and sequencing are required to ensure full time operation of the existing facility. Estimated construction cost rangefor the Processing and Distribution Center is between $1,000,000 and $1,750,000. Estimated construction cost range for the Bulk Mail Center is between $750,000 and $1,500,000. The construction performance period is 90 calendar days for each contract.
