The Government intends to award a firm fixed price requirements-type contract for Chemiluminescence components to complete 3rd generation TSH and Free T4 assays. All listed quantities are estimates only. At a minimum, the following essential characteristics are required: (a) Assays shall be validated to industry reference methodologies; (b) Assays shall be able to utilize rack-linked design for performance and through-put; (c) TSH assays shall have third generation sensitivity and shall have been used clinically for a minimum of four years; (d) Free T4 assays shall use the direct equilibrium dialysis method; (e) Contractor shall provide one Chemiluminescence system (at no additional cost to the Government) containing a Luminometer 400 system, a system wash station and software necessary to run the subject testing; (f) Contractor shall provide Allergo wash, at no charge to the Government, for the life of the contract; (g) Contractor shall provide five bottles Free T4 Reagent A and Free T4 Reagent B, per year, for the life of the contract; (h) Contractor shall provide a standard extended warranty, plus one preventive maintenance (PM) visit per year (including consumables used for the PM) at no additional cost to the Government; (i) Contractor shall provide in-house scientific and medical expert support by the assay manufacturer, at no additional cost to the Government. All items shall be delivered to Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Main Post, Bldg. 41, Room 38,ATTN: Health Physics Officer, 6825 16th St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20307-5000. Deliveries are required within 10 calendar days after receipt of a delivery order, FOB destination, in the quantities specified on each individual order.
