A -- HAULIEN LARGE SCALE TEST PROGRAM ANALYSIS SOL NRC-04-97-049 POC RoseMary Mann, Contract Specialist, (301) 415-6595 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission intends to negotiate a sole source contract modification to contract no. NRC-04-97-049 with the City University of New York. This modification adds a new task to the contract to determine if separate criteria are required to address anisotropic effects of soil sites including an evaluation of the extent to which anisotropic effects can be included within the current required parameter variations in the NRC Standard Review Plan 3.7.2. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis as it is a continuation of work currently being performed by the principal investigators who possess unique specialized experience in the Hualien LSST program. Prior experience with the Lotung experiment data and active involvement in the current SSI licensing issues are essential to the successful and timely completion of this work.
