Repair of USCGC EDISTO, a 110' patrol boat, homeported in San Diego,
CA. All work will be performed during the period of 9 through 16 March
1998 at the contractor's facility. Items to be accomplished include;
Drydocking and underwater body inspection, temporary services and Fin
Stablizer replacement. A Request for Quotation will be issued OOA 13
Feb 1998. Only Small Businesses may submit quotes. For Women=Owned and
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, the Department of Transportation
(DOT) Minroity, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization
has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged
enterprieses to acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to
provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
