R -- ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES SOL RFQ-rt-01967 POC William Newby, Contract Specialist, (919) 541-5296 EPA intends to award a sole source purchase order to SAIC, pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1): Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for modifications, enhancements and preparation of the Final Report on Subcommittee discussions, December 1997. As the original developer of the final report, EPA believes that SAIC is uniquely qualified to modify the final report. SAIC is the only known source that can provide the requested product within the time frame identified by EPA in modifying the final report. This is especially true given that SAIC prepared the final report under contractual support. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of this notice to William Newby at the above address for consideration by the Agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination of what competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with SAIC. (0027)
