R -- SPONSORSHIP OF SERVICES' DIVISION'S SPECIAL EVENTS AND PROGRAMS FOR 1998 SOL 88SV-SCS-01-98 POC Jan Janek, 937/257-8820, FAX 937/656-1237 Sponsorship is for the 88th Services Division's Special Events and Programs for the 1998 season. These events include May fitness month for the gyms where the whole base will be involved in squadron challenges for the entire month. Youth Center soccer, baseball and basketball. Varsity sports. Officer's and Enlisted Clubs special programs ( several throughout the year ). Travel Expo ( Feb ), approximately 4 hours of entertainment, food and beverage, and travel information provided by vendors. 3rd Annual Pet Expo ( May ), approximately 4 hours of pet contests, food and beverage, and pet information provided by vendors. 12th Annual 4th of July Celebration (July 4), one day base/community event with entertainment, car show, food and beverage, games and fireworks. Attendance is between 30,000 and 35,000. 6th Annual Summer Bash-Base Wide Picnic (August 7), afternoon event with entertainment, games and a picnic. Attendance is between 4,000 and 5,000. Tops In Blue ( date TBD), The Air Force's premier entertainment showcase. These events and programs have exposure to over 23,000 base employees. They reach active duty military, civilians, retirees, their family members and surrounding community. Requesting funds or services to enhance programming. Sponsorship includes, but is not limited to cash, food, beverages, door prizes, fireworks, entertainment, trophies and other awards, uniforms, equipment, lumber, paint, building supplies, promotional incentives and printing of program brochures. Sponsor benefits include exposure to over 23,000 base employees through flyers, posters, signage, program brochures, event banners, public address announcements, table tents and news articles. Exposure to approximately 71,070 military and civilian spouses, family members, retirees and retired military dependents. Exposure to surrounding community. Positive public awareness and brand identification. Logo/trademark/company name recognition on premium handouts. Opportunity for couponing, surveys, and to build a customer data base. Alloffers submitted will be considered. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered.
