SALES FORCE AUGMENTATION CORRECTION OF GARBLED ANNOUNCEMENT This same announcement was inadvertently transmitted without formatting of vendor addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience. This announcement is a follow-up to a December 9, 1997 CBD announcement. The subject of that announcement was R -- SALES FORCE AUGMENTATION. The purpose of the announcement was to assist the Postal Service in identifying firms having the qualifications to provide a managed sales force to augment the existing Postal Service sales force. This announcement is for information only. The Postal Service is not seeking responses to the announcement. As a result of the CBD announcement and submission of capability statements by potential providers, the Postal Service has determined that seven firms are prequalified. The Postal Service is not aware of the subcontracting opportunities, if any, that may be available with any of the seven firms. The seven firms, or some subset of them, will be the only firms to receive Postal Service sales force augmentation Requests For Proposals for the foreseeable future.
