14 -- CONTINUED MAINTENANCE OF ATWCS SOFTWARE DUE 021198 POC Gary Mutzabaugh, Contract Specialist, 301-757-5940 or Doris Browder, Contracting Officer, 301-757-5934 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to increase the level of effort required and extend performance for continuing maintenance of software for the Advanced Tomahawk Weapon Control System (ATWCS). This software was developed and is currently being maintained by Lockheed Martin Management & Data Systems, Valley Forge, PA, under Contract N00019-93-C-0153. The period of performance will be extended through 28FEB 99. NAVAIR intends to issue a sole source modification to this contract under the authority of FAR6.302-1 (only one responsible source), as Lockheed Martin is the only known source with the requisite technical knowledge, data, and experience needed to meet this requirement within the required time constraints. A cost-plus-fixed-fee, level-of-effort modification is contemplated. See Notes 22 and 26!! (0028)
