This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Norton Performance Plastics Company, 335 North Diamond Street, Ravenna, OH 44266. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Norton Performance Plastics is the original equipment manufacturer of the 48" Hemisphere Radomes and owns the proprietary data rights. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Delivery of 1 each to Metro Shipyard, Attn: Steve Tise, SUPSHIP, 2000 Ligon Street, Norfolk, VA 23523 and 1 each to Receiving Officer Supply Department, 47179 Vaughn Road Building 665, Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1614.
