The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN), Charleston, SPAWAR Charleston intends to issue a sole source contract to S. T. Research, 8419 Terminal Road, P. O. Box 1430, Newington, VA 22122-1430, for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, firm-fixed price supply type contract for Electronic Support Measures (ESM) Threat Warning Direction Finding Systems (also known as BOBCAT). It is estimated that the government intends to procure five (5) production systems during the base period and additional option quantities for an estimated total of 40 systems over the contract period of four years. Contractor shall provide ESM Processor, Chassis, Hard Drive and Software; and Antenna Assembly (including Radome). Each system shall have a warranty, valid for at least one year from the date of Government acceptance. Contract will be for a base of one (1) year with three (3), one (1) year options for a total of forty-eight (48) months. Estimated total for the base year is $1,450,000; estimated total for base and all options is $9,900,000. This notice of intent is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with one source IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 [10 USC 2304(c)(1)].
