THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY WHERE THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING WRITTEN
IINFORMATION ONLY. IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PROCUREMENT INTEGRITY OF ANY
FUTURE PROCUREMENT, IF ANY, THAT MAY ARISE FROM THIS MARKET SURVEY,
INFORMATION REGARDING THE TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT WILL NOT BE GIVEN
AND NO APPOINTMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE. The U.S. Army
Engineer Waterways Experiment Station (WES) has been tasked to
investigate blast mitigation products and technologies that provide
protection (reduce casualties) from terrorist attacks utilizing
explosives. Respondants should provide the following information about
their products: Name/address of company, company point of contact with
phone/fax number (email address if available), narrative description of
the product or concept, installation requirements, performance
characteristics, material properties, engineering properties, and
projected cost. In the product narrative, WES is particularly
interested in knowing how the product has been tested and against which
threat environments the product is considered effective. It is
requested that all proprietary information that is not to be
disseminated in government documents be clearly identified. All
information must be mailed to U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment
Station, Attn: CEWES-CT-C (Ms Sally Kleinman, 3909 Halls Ferry Road,
Vicksburg, MS 39180-6199. Deadline for receipt of information is 20
