NASA/SSC intends to negotiate only with PCB Piezotronics for the acquisition of eight(8)each, 16-Channel ICP Sensor Power Supply/Signal Conditioner, Programmable, Model 584A with Options 584-012, 584-037, 584-053, 584-070, 584-086, and 584-102. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Proposals shall include: descriptive literature of the offered products, prices, availability, warranty, business size FOB point, and invoice terms. Minimum requirements include: 12-bit accuracy signal conditioning and switching minimum, front panel menu and keyboard, IEEE-488 computer interface, internal calibration source with amplitude control, BNC input and output connectors, 19" rack mountable, gain of x1, x10, x100 with autoranging, filter setting of 150 kHz, continuous gain control of x.1-x200, operation temperature range +32(+/-20)F to +120(+/-20)F, input power requirement 115(+/-10)VAC, channel isolation of 74dB at a minimum, frequence response .25 to 100,000, output range +/-10/5V/mA, and excitation: 24/2 to 20 V/mA. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
