Burt, Contracting Officer, (760) 939-4236, FAX (760) 927-3488 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition bases, the following: Case, Transfer and Storage, P/N 15607, 31 each. These cases were designed to house the re-charging unit for the stinger missile coolant tank which is pressurized to 9,000 PSI. The case is in integral part of the missile, if there are any discrepancies with the design, the missile could not be transported, also, if case does not house the unit properly, it may cause damage to the pumping unit, which may cause injury to personnel. Due to the uniqueness, this requirement has been sole-sourced to ECS Composites of Grants Pass, Oregon. Any firms believing that they can provide the required cases shall submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 DAYS after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing it s ability to provide the required equipment.
