Thompson 253 589 4027 The VA Puget Sound Healthcare System, Amercian Lake Division is seeking A/E services to provide design services for the slab-to-slab renovation of first and second floor of Bldg 61. The design will incorporate necessary renovations to convert the two designated floors from an inpatient mental health facility to outpatient mental health facility. Each floor is approximately 20,000 square feet. The design work covered by this contract will be based on and will incorporate an exisiting design plan for the entire building. The total constuction cost estimate is between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. The contract work is expected to include the following: 35% design development drawings, specifications, and cost estimate; 65% design development drawings, specifications, and cost estimate; and 'bid ready' construction solicitation package. The A/E contractor will complete the construction solicitation package no later than 180 calendar days following award of the A/E contract. The A/E contractor will provide construction period services. This announcement is not a request for proposals.
