of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, has made two significant
changes to requirement originally synopsized on March 24, 1997. The ABS
requirement is for the acquisition, integration, setup, delivery,
training, maintenance and repair of the DEA's prototype booking
station. Secondarily, the requirement is for the development,
acquisition, integration, setup, delivery, training, maintenance and
repair of a modified automated booking station (refered to as a
cardscan automated booking station). The solicitation has been
renumbered DEA-98-R-0004 due to the actual release date of the
solicitation. The previously published SIC code of 3571 has been
changed to 7373 and secondarily 7378 to more accurately reflect the
requirement. A demonstration of the DEA's automated booking station
prototype will be held March 3, 1998. Those that have already responded
to DEA-97-R-0002 will remain on the solicitation's mailing list.
