Karis, Contracting Officer, (202) 366-5750 The objective of this solicitation is to issue a task order contract to provide technical support to the Office of Environment and Planning in the following areas: Travel Demand Model Improvements; Congestion Management and Mobility Enhancement; Planning, Programming, and Evaluation; Intermodal Analysis; and, Sustainable Transportation. The FHWA anticipates making two awards under this solicitation. It is anticipated that one award will be set aside for a small business concern. Submit written requests for copies of the solicitation to the address indicated above and include two (2) self-addressed gummed labels for each solicitation requested. The solicitation number should appear on the bottom edge of the labels. The requestor's DUNS number should be included in the request. No telephone, fax or e-mail requests will be accepted. All RFP's will be mailed in 3 1/2" diskette, WordPerfect 6.1 format, to offerors who send in written requests. Amendments, if any, will be mailed either in hardcopy or diskette format. The RFP and its forms/attachments are also available for downloading on the FHWA Webpage at HTTP://WWW.FHWA.DOT.GOV/AAA/HAMHOME.HTM. If you download copies of solicitations from the FHWA Webpage you will NOT automatically receive any amendments to those solicitations unless you have also sent in the written request.
