This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, F11623-98-T0566, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-3. This is a total small business set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 3663 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. There is only one contract line item number and the quantity is one job. The description of this requirement is as follows: Closed circuit television system to include all cameras, multiplexers, interfaces, monitors/receivers, video cassette recorders, and cables. The job also includes removal of existing system and all associated cables, and installation and testing of all new equipment. Only written or faxed requests for copies of the Statement of Work, Equipment List, and Drawings will be accepted. Work should be completed between 1-15 Apr 98. A site visit will be held on Wednesday, 11 Feb 98 at 10:00 a.m., Central Time, main entrance of building 1805. Anyone attending the site visit must fax company's point of contract with telephone number and address NLT 1:00 p.m. Central Time on 10 Feb 98. Delivery of equipment is f.o.b. destination and the place of performance is Building 1805 at Scott AFB IL. The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies and quotes shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses and provisions, and satisfactory performance record.
