66 -- MULTI-PURPOSE STROKE/RASTER DISPLAY SOL N68335-98-Q-0091 DUE 021398 POC Dawn Chartier, Code 2132DC, Mailstop B129-2, (732) 323-2933 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Systems and Electronics Incorporated (SEI) for the acquisition of 40 Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) Multi-Purpose Stroke/Raster Displays (MPSRD). The MPSRD must integrate with Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) stroke and raster video signal display requirements for new Test Program Sets (TPS) for displays developed for the F/A-18E/F, F/A-18 FLIR Pod TPS Off-Load, AV-8B, E-2C, F-14, EA-6B, S-3A/B, SH-60B and MV-22. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. SEI is the only firm that provides a COTS MPSRD that meets all critical requirements. Their display meets the physical size and technical functional requirements for integration with the CASS stations with no electrical or mechanical modifications needed. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
