The Navy requires 250 each of a left standard vehicle mounted launcher protective cover, and 250 each of a right standard vehicle mounted launcher cover, to decrease environmental contaminants from entering the launcher. Base materiel shall be 2 ply polyester duck, and finish shall be a double coat top vinyl resin, and a non-coated underside. A NSWC Crane purchase order description providing all drawings and salient characteristics will define the requirement. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to NSWC 30 days after contract award. A fixed priced purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). It is anticipated that a formal Request for Quote will be issued.
