DAAN02) MODIFICATION NOTICE: MARINE CORPS GLOVE/MITT SYSTEM. This
requirement was first announced in the Commerce Business Daily on 29
December 1997, and subsequently modified on 16 January 1998. The
requirement is once again modified as follows: The delivery
requirements shall now read "First Delivery of 5,000 systems shall be
made to the Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia no later
than 120 days after contract award. The first 500 systems of this
initial 5,000 shall be delivered within 30 days after contract award,
with the remainder to be delivered at any time within the 120 day
window. The second delivery order for 5,000 systems shall be delivered
within 120 days of issue of the delivery order. The minimum order
quantity for the contract shall be 10,000 systems, with a minimum order
quantity for each delivery order of 500 systems. Additional quantities
in lots up to 5,000 systems each may be ordered over a period of 24
months from the date of contract award. In the event that orders have
been placed which would require the contractor to deliver more than
2,500 systems in any given month, the contractor shall only be
responsible for delivery of this 2,500 system/month maximum. Partial
deliveries are encouraged throughout the required delivery periods." No
other changes are made to the Marine Corps Glove/Mitt System
