The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement for the refurbishment of 1,650 Dolly Casters, which will be provided to the successful offeror as Government Furnished Property (GFP) in thirty-three (33) lots of (50) each over an approximate 24 month time frame. Delivery of the refurbished casters will be F.O.B. Destination, Newport RI. The Government intends to award a single contract on a Firm Fixed Price basis. A written Request for Quote including the Statement of Work and accompanying drawings will be released on or about 19 February 98 to all offerors that submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation. Telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Government. Award is expected on or about 10 March 98.
