Michael Dodd, Code SEA02522, (703)602-7900 ext 568 Pending internal approval, the Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue Orders on multiple occasions under a new Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-98-G-5211 to Hughes Technical Services Company, 1665 Hughes Way, Long Beach, California 90810-0399. Orders will be issued for repair effort (including emergency repairs), repair parts, components, accessories, documentation, associated tools. and any packing, packaging, marking, storage, inventory functions or shipping and handling, and the installation of Field Change Kits. In appropriate cases, repair, alteration, or overhaul efforts may be handled by the issuance of an Order to cover the opening and inspection of the equipment to determine the extent of need for repair, alteration, or overhaul work. All orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Hughes Technical Services Company is the original manufacturer of the AN/SPS-73(V) Radar, and possess the technical data, unique experience and knowledge to perform the aforementioned requirements.
