The Navy requires service/maintenance for a quantity of ten digital vibration control and Monitoring systems. Maintenance shall include provisions for preventive maintenance, repair, emergency visits, and calibration of Government owned control and monitoring equipment, which simulate dynamic environments. The maintenance shall include all labor/services/material to accomplish this requirement in accordance with the Government's Statement of Work. It is anticipated that a one year contract will be awarded which will include a one year option period. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis from Spectral Dynamics, 1983 Concourse Drive, San Jose, CA 95131 due to lack of access to the company's proprietary information for maintenance/repair of this equipment. The services will be performed at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division and will commence immediately upon contract award. It is anticipated that a fixed-price Purchase Order will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Tentative issue date is 24 February 1998.
