AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) is the Navy's next
generation dipping sonar system currently being developed for the H-60
platform. Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Hughes
Aircraft Company to refurbish ALFS Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRA)
to reflect currently available electronic components. This work is
required to provide production representative model ALFS units
(including spares) to continue Developmental Testing and begin
Operational Testing. Hughes Aircraft company is the only firm that the
possesses the engineering knowledge of the ALFS System to provide the
