SYSTEMS SOL N68936-98-R-0072 POC Lenette Santana, Contract Specialist,
(805) 989-0555 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point
Mugu, CA anticipates issuing a solicitation for a five-year contract to
install, test, operate, maintain, repair and support NAWCWPNS Range
communications and antenna systems. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) Code is 4899 and the small business size standard
is $11 million average annual receiptsover a three year period. The
solicitation will be issued as part of an OMB Circular A-76 cost
comparison study. Based on the results of the cost comparison, the
Government may elect to award a contract or to retain the function
in-house. In the event the function is contracted out, the successful
offeror must possess the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance. The
requirement is to install, test, operate, maintain, repair and support
all NAWCWPNS Range communications and antenna systems. Communications
systems include the Communications Center, Intra-Range Connectivity,
Inter-Range Connectivity, Timing, Command Transmitters, Radio Frequency
(RF) Communications, Frequency Interference Monitoring, and Video
Acquisition and Distribution. The Contractor shall provide
communication services at the Land Range (including Laurel Mountain) at
China Lake, CA, and at the Sea Range at Point Mugu,CA (including San
Nicolas Island, Santa Cruz Island, and Laguna Peak). Antenna systems
include all antennas within the Sea Range Complex. Sources interested
in providing these services should complete the following Contractor
Profile Data Questionnaire. In answering the questions, you may submit
other data to support your answers, however, the minimum requirement
is submission of the company profile data. Written responses must be

The Contracting Officer reserves the right to set-aside the requirement
for small business participation if determined to be in the best
