Zangwill (301) 443-2750 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the National Hispanic Medical Association, 1700 17th Street, NW Suite 405, Washington, DC 20009. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this purchase order is to convene special work groups and organize and conduct specialized discussions in each of the following topic area: workforce diversity, building of an applicant pool/designing an academic continuum for facilitating academic progress of Hispanic students in the health professions, effect of anti-affirmative action legislation on health professions training programs, and impact of managed care in health professions training programs. The contractor shall organize, facilitate, and document all presentations, substantive discussions and workgroup sessions on the four key topics listed above. The period of performance for this project is ten months. The National Medical Hispanic Association, is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services.
