Vessel requirements include being completely rigged for trawling, having an overall length of 36.5m (120 ft), having a minimum continuous HP from main engine 1000, having accommodations for 6 Government Scientific personnel and 5 crew including captain, and have fueling capacity for approx. 50 days of continuous fishing operations. The contract will provide accommodations for releasing the vessels from contract during the Bering Sea pollock B season if the beginning date of the B season is changed to earlier than August 15.
