This building is approximately 47,800 sf or 4441 M2. Construction will be a pre-engineered rigid frame on a spread footing foundation with a standing seam metal roof. The walls will be metal siding with a brick wainscot. Walls will be insulated to R-19 and roof system to R-30. All support utilities and site improvements are required, including landscaping, parking, and hardstands. Rebuilding Estes road, construction of the north parking lot, and supplying and installing the power conditioners are options to this project, provided funds are available. The drawings and specifications will be issued on Electronic Bid sets (CD-ROM). The work will utilize a wide range of construction trades and skills, including, but not limited to, laborers, bricklayers, carpenters, cement workers, reinforcing workers, equipment operators, electricians, fire protection workers, glaziers, painters, plasterers, plumbers, sheet metal workers, truck drivers and welders. Solicitations will be issued on or about 20 February 1998. Bids will be opened on or about 20 March 1998. Approximate time of completion: 480 Calendar Days.
