Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove three (3) Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) and one (1) Above Ground Storage Tank (AST). Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) Remove one (1) 1000 gallon and two (2) 500 gallon Heating Oil USTs; (2) Remove (1) 33K gallon Diesel Fuel AST; (3) Pump and dispose of residual fuel and sludge found in USTs and ATS; (4) Remove and recycle, as appropriate, the tanks, associated aboveground piping and ancillary equipment; (5) Flush underground piping of all contents into their respective tanks; (6) Conduct soil/groundwater sampling and analysis; and (7) Backfill, clean up and restore the site to match adjacent. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable SIC is 1629. Small Business Standard size is $17 million. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION BEING SOLICITED. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing. The Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
