D -- ENHANCEMENT OF BASE STATION FOR VIDEO TELEMETRY RECORDING SYSTEM SOL DATM01-98-R-0009 DUE 031598 POC Contract Specialist Elizabeth Arispe (254) 288-9539 (Site Code TM01) The Government intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to AP Labs, 1042 Elkhorn Dr., Colorado Springs, CO pursuant to the authority of a Class Justification and Approval utilizing the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government requires enhancement of the previously developed and delivered Base Station equipment and proprietary software in order for the system to acquire, process, record and transmit, via fiber optics, all of the digital data transmitted from ten VTRS remote player systems to the HP170 mainframe computer. Additional requirements are for documentation, one year warranty, an option for one year of repair and on-call, on-site support services, training, and an option for fabrication and delivery of additional enhanced Base Stations. The solicitation will be issued on or about the 15th day after publication of this notice. Delivery will be to Fort Bliss, Texas.
