On March 16, 1998, from 8:00AM to 5:30PM a Small Business Contracting Day designed to bring small business sellers together with buyers from the Federal Government and large Prime Contractors, will be held at the Grove Park Inn Resort, Asheville, North Carolina. Potential suppliers will be able to meet buyers from civilian and military agencies as well as prime contractors. Buyers will be discussing subcontractor needs and counseling those with questions concerning procurement opportunities they offer. Exhibit booths are available for both federal agencies and prime contractors. Existing and potential small business suppliers can register to visit exhibitor booths and attend seminars. Seminar subjects include Basics in Government Contracting, Construction Contracting, Non-Traditional Government Markets, Introduction to Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data Interchange (EC/EDI), Sub-Contracting Opportunities, and How to Get Local and State Contracts.
