contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, new and current material,
supplies, equipment, and supervision. Perform all operations in
connection with constructing Project CRWU 95-1016, located at Buckley
ANG Base in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings. The
work consists of renovating the existing HVAC system in the south
portion of Building 429 and providing new Energy Management Control
System (EMCS) with control system located in Building 430 . The
existing multizone air handling system will be replaced with a new
variable air handling system, the existing condensing unit serving the
south portion of Building 429 will be replaced with a new condensing
unit. The new EMCS system will interface with the existing Building 429
northern building system. This project is under SIC 1711. The
approximate bid opening date is 19 Mar 98. The estimated construction
period is 210 calendar days for an estimated contract completion date
of 31 Dec 98. The estimated construction cost is $250,000 to $500,000.
It is estimated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded as a
result of this solicitation. Solicitations will be available
approximately 13 Feb 98. The solicitation package will be limited to
one set per bidder and will be issued on a first come first serve basis
as the number of copies is limited. Requests for bid documents must be
in writing. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The return
address must be a street address and not a Post Office Box. Copies of
this solicitation will be distributed to various Plans Rooms throughout
Colorado. The site visit will be approximatel 5 Mar 98. Place of
performance is Buckley ANG Base, Aurora, Colorado. This solicitation is
UNRESTRICTED; however, woman-owned, and Small Disadvantaged Business
(SDBs) are encouraged to apply., SDB concerns must provide evidence of
being a socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. All
replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large business,
small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). An evaluation
