The Naval Air Systems Command intends to enter into a contract with Allied Signal Ocean Systems, Sylmar, CA (ASOS) for the integration of ten (10) AQS-18A dipping sonar systems into the ASN-150 tactical navigation system via a 1553 databus. ASOS is the sole designer and producer of the AQS-18A and is the only company with the requisite knowledge and skills necessary to perform this integration. See Note 22. (0033)
