D -- CELLULAR TELEPHONE SERVICE SOL F28609-98-R0007 DUE 030698 POC SSgt David Medina at 609-724-5918 This solicitation is for the commercial acquisition of cellular telephone service at McGuire AFB New Jersey, and is prepared in accordance with FAR 12. Solicitation will be issued on or about 13 Feb 98, with a twenty (20) day closing period. The contractor shall provide a minimum of 50 cellular telephones or PCS telephonesl, not to exceed the contract maximum of 400 telephones. The cellular telephone shall operate on both non wireline A and wireline B carrier networks. Service shall be capable of using code division multiple access (CDMA) digital technology with an analog default. All telephones shall be provided by the contractor. The contractor will provide initial and as needed training on the operation of all cellular/PCS equipment to each customer. The following features shall be available on each access line: Call-Waiting, Call-Forwarding, Three-way conferencing, tracking service, roamer service. The features will be on a as needed basis depending on the customers needs. Coverage maps must be included with the proposal. Proposal will be evaluated on past performance, price,and coverage areas that are most advantageous to the government as stated in FAR 52.212-2. This requirement is unrestricted.
