The Rapid Response to Critical System Requirements Support Program is a quick response capability on the manufacture of economic quantity critical item requirements, the development of associated technical data, and support for design, integration, testing, modifications, maintenance, configuration management, quality assurance, system safety, hazardous materials management, technical and engineering data management, support and analysis, and packaging, handling, storage, marking and transportation, and acquisition, engineering and other logistics support associated with the technical program. In the manufacturing process, it may be necessary to redesign a part in conjunction with engineering the part to improve reliability and maintainability. This will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with reimbursement on a Time and Materials/Firm Fixed Price (T&M/FFP) basis, Initial Two (2) Year Contract, with Three (3) One (1) Year Options and selection of more than one prime contractor with multiple subcontractors selected by the primes. The total contract ceiling is estimated at $1.5 Billion. See Note 26.
