Medical transcription services needed for the Social Security Administration (SSA), Center for Disability. Service will include transcription of standard cassette tapes prepared by Physicians and Psychologists performing quality reviews for SSA. Transcription will be completed on a multi-paged form provided by SSA. Daily pick up and delivery of tapes is required. SSA is currently located at 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA, however, scheduled to be moving to 1221 Nevin Ave.,~ Richmond, CA, in approximately June 1998. The standard industrial code (SIC) is 7338. This procurement is a 100 percent small business set aside. The expected date of contract is 7-17-98. The period of performance for the base period shall be one year from the date of award with two 1-year option periods, if exercised. It is estimated a solicitation will be issued on or about 3/9/98.
