R -- MODIFICATION TO THE NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFERENCE SERVICE CONTRACT POC Raymond C. German, Contracting Officer, (202) 307-0613 The Office of Justice Programs intends to modify on a sole source basis Contract OJP-96-C-006, entitled "NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFERENCE SERVICE CONTRACT, with Aspen Systems Corporation, 2277 Research Boulevard, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The modification will extend the subject contract from March 16, 1998 through August 15, 1998. During the extended period, the contractor shall continue performing the requirements of Tasks 1 through 12 for the National Institute of Justice, Task 13 for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Task 14 for the Office for Victims of Crime, Task 15 for the Bureaus of Justice Statistics, Task 16 for the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Task 17 for the Office of National Drug Control Policy, and Task 18 for the Office of the Assistant Attorney General/Office of Justice Programs. This extension is necessary while OJP competes for a new NCJRS contract, which is anticpated to begin on or about August 15, 1998. The new NCJRS requirement will be competed under full and open competition. This notice for extending Contract OJP-96-C-006 is not a request for competitive proposals.
