V -- TRAVEL MANAGEMENT SERVICES AND TRAVEL SOFTWARE PACKAGE POC Harold Miles (Contract Specialist) 202/512-3607 The U.S. General Accounting Office is seeking to obtain travel management services and travel software. Services are to be offered for GAO's headquarters in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, 10 field and 7 sub-offices located throughout the continential United States (1) travel management services at no cost to the Government, and (2) optional travel management software at cost to the Government. The no-cost travel management services includes comprehensive transient travel services, management reporting, and basic meeting arrangements. The travel management software (at cost) will include client/server-based travel subsystem software package and software upgrades, and license for the life of the contract. This requirement will not be split between offerors. However, GAO will consider offers that are team arrangements, joint ventures, or involve subcontracting arrangements, under a single, prime management team. This contract will be effective for October 1, 1998 (base year FY-99), plus four option periods (FY-2000, FY-2001, FY-2002 and FY-2003) Requests for the RFP must be in writing and should reference OAM-98-N-0005.
