Tank repairs include the installation of a reinforced concrete ringwall, a new tank cone-down center sump floor with leak detection and underfloor liner, underfloor cathodic protection, shell insert plates, nozzles, miscellaneous shell appurtenances, removal of floating steel roof and provision of a floating pan, a new fixed cone roof, interior piping modificaions, exterior piping modifications, lead and non-lead paint removal, asbestos gasket removal, tank and pipe painting, petroleum contaminated soil and water removal, installation of tank high level and temperature sensors, modification of existing tank level indicating transmitter, installation of fill and issue motorized valve operators, and incidental related work. -- Bid opening date listed in Item 10 is approximate. -- Request bid documents by 15 March 1998. -- There is a $40.00 NON-REFUNDABLE charge for "EACH" set of plans and specification.
