Work involves infrastructure improvements within the Fort Smith Cemetery. Work includes removal of existing asphalt pavement (by cold milling), removal of substandard curb and gutter sections, substandard drainage structures, and complete roadway removal for pavement repair in areas with substandard typical sections. These removals are to be accomplished to allow for the installation of new asphaltic concrete surfacing that provides consistent positive drainage to the gutters and inlets. Also needed is new curb and gutter in place to adequately handle runoff with new drainage structures that have increased capacity for stormwater demands. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. A total of 10 bid packages will be issued on a first come-first serve basis on or about February 9, 1998. All requests for packages must be submitted in writing to the above address and must include a non-refundable cashier's check, money order, or company check in the amount of $35.00.
