MUNITION MATERIEL HANDLING EQUIPMENT ROADMAP WORKSHOP EGLIN AFB USAF MUNITIONS MATERIEL HANDLING EQUIPMENT ROADMAP WORKSHOP -- EGLIN AFB FL The USAF Munitions Materiel Handling Equipment (MMHE) Focal Point, Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin AFB Florida, will host the Annual MMHE Roadmap Workshop, 21 April 1998, at Eglin AFB Florida. The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for munitions managers, logistics and development managers to meet and exchange ideas, identify problem areas, assign action agencies, compare requirements, observe demonstrations of new equipment and discuss pertinent munitions and armament equipment issues. The MMHE Focal Point Chief extends an invitation for industry to provide a presentation of their state-of-the-art products that would have application in the area of munitions or armament maintenance and handling equipment. Items of particular interest include technological applications that are multipurpose or increase reliability, maintainability, or deployability of munitions handling and armament equipment. Present new concepts, methods, or technologies that improve loading of combat aircraft with munitions or new technologies that enhance storage and maintenance of munitions. Depending upon the number of responses available briefing time may be a limited factor. The Government reserves the right to select the products to be presented. Industry personal may not attend any of the formal segments of the conference. The Government intends this to be an informal exchange between industry and the Government, and does not intend to award contracts or make any payments for the services on the basis of this action. This invitation does not constitute an Invitation for bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
