SALE OF EXCESS, OBSOLETE, OR UNSERVICEABLE AMMUNITION AND AMMUNITION COMPONENTS The Industrial Operations Command (IOC), the National Maintenance Point Division, Ammunition Demil Office, is conducting a marketing survey. Legislation, that has recently been signed into law, now allows the Army to sell excess, obsolete or unservicable ammunition and ammunition components. The Army needs to know from potential purchasers, what kind of ammunition/munitions they would be most interested in purchasing. Condition of the ammunition and components would be both servicable and unserviceable. The sales will be to licensed manufacturers as defined in section 921 (10) of title 18. The purchaser would be required to sign a hold harmless agreement. At the present time, the following types of ammunition and components are being considered for sale: Dys, White Phosphorous, Riot Control Agents, Smokes, Tungsten Carbide, Incendiary/Thermite devices, Pyrotechnics/Illumination/Non Frag/Tracers, High Explosive (HE) Components/Devices, HE bombs, HE Cartridges, Cast and Pressed Explosives, Explosive ''D'' filler (also known as ammunition picrate or yellow D), Bulk Explosive ''D'', Bulk HE(such as TNT, Composition A, Composition C-4, PBX, and RDX), HE Grenades, HE ICM/CBU and submunitions, Cluster bomb Units, Improved Conventional Munitions, Rockets with submunitions, Conventional missles, HE Projectiles and Warheads, HE Rockets, Demolition Materials, HE Land Mines, Inerts, Solid Propellant Large Rocket Motors, Bulk Propellants and Black Powder, Propellant Charges and Increments, Propellant Munitions/Components, Small Caliber Ammunition, and Fuzes.
